I didn't have whatsoever complaints almost Commonwealth'south trash and recycling services, but I was trying to reduce our household expenses and found another local company that could practice the task for a much amend toll, so I switched. I was warned past the rep at the new company to make sure Republic refunded any credit on my account, considering they accept a reputation for "forgetting" to practice and so. When my final statement from Republic arrived, they had charged me a fee to remove their containers, which I establish egregious. I called immediately to contest that charge, and was told that they accept to ship a special truck that doesn't become peachy gas mileage to pick up containers from former customers. "Why is that my problem?" I asked. "Sounds like the cost of doing business." Although they refused to remove the unabridged accuse, they did reduce it. I was and then told to expect to see my positive balance of $155.95 returned to my credit menu on file in half dozen-8 weeks.
I wish I had fabricated a note in my agenda to check my credit card argument six-viii weeks later, but life happened, other mail was placed on my desk-bound, and the Republic invoice was forgotten. Today the invoice resurfaced, and I decided to review my credit card history. "It's been eleven months at present," I thought, "I'm sure Democracy must have credited my account, and I just didn't observe information technology on my statements." Nope. Republic Services has been holding on to my credit balance for 11 MONTHS. I called their customer service number. The adult female I spoke with was professional and apologetic. She indicated it wasn't unusual for customers to have to insist on getting their refunds because Republic's organization isn't fix to process them automatically. Excuse me?! She said she would process the refund request, which I can look to meet in the mail in -- you lot guessed it -- 6-8 weeks. This time, you lot know I'm setting an alert in my calendar.
At present, I know $155.95 isn't going to make or pause my family'south finances simply, on a larger calibration, if Democracy has purposely created a arrangement that fails to refund customers the credit balances they are due, imagine how many hundreds of thousands -- peradventure fifty-fifty millions -- of dollars they are keeping in their coffers that don't vest to them! How many customers like me make a change in their trash hauler and forget to confirm that they take received the credit balances Republic owes them? More likely, how many people close an business relationship due to a cantankerous-state move or having to sell the home a now-deceased parent once lived in and, in the stress of that situation, don't even realize there is a credit due to them? I cannot recommend working with a visitor with such low moral and ethical standards.

Customer service is terrible make excuses and are rude as in we know it all. Beware of metropolis councils making deals with this company. Information technology's in their interest not the public's as their service speaks clearly. They are in charge of when how and why they are less than one star approving rating. Our metropolis helped them buy shiny new trash trucks though. Vote them out!

We've had Commonwealth since 2020. Our bill has increased over $25 since we first started our service. Which is understandable. I tried navigating their website to encounter how much information technology would cost to get a second trash bin. Didn't navigate the website right and when I requested an estimate I was quoted as a new customer and it was going to be $440 for quarterly pick up. $440!!!! For only 1 trash bin!!!! That'southward over $300 what we pay now! If they can think I'thousand a new customer and say that's information technology'southward going to be over $440 when I'm currently paying them $105 how much more than will my bill go upwards? We've too tried adding recycling to our choice upwardly and we're told it was unavailable, even though our neighbour has recycling through them (they live 50 feet abroad from us…). Do better. Stop scamming people. I am now looking for a new trash company..

If there was a less than ZERO star, I would rate. This visitor is so deceptive. They charged a 300+ lien for a neb I never received. The pecker was finally received in my mail on April 8, 2022 and they dated the 27 January 2022. How do I know when it was mailed. I have perfect credit and pay bills for multiple handicapped individuals who are unable to handle their diplomacy merely THESE crooks say I did not pay and charged a lien that was DOUBLE MY Beak. They are criminal. I saw there was a Class Action Lawsuit against them a few years ago, peradventure time for another!

I had Republic Services for ane year and I think they picked my trash upward less in that twelvemonth than they didn't. I got constant calls with "we tin't brand it out today, just yet leave your trash and we'll get it tomorrow" simply for my trash to never become picked up. Sometimes I never even got calls, they only never came and got it. At one signal, my trash had non been picked upwardly for Three WEEKS then I submitted for a missed pick up and they said "we'll be out next Friday to selection it upward." Well Fri is my trash day so that completely defeats the purpose of submitting for a missed pick up.
And so, I get my pecker for the first 3 months of the starting time of my second twelvemonth and information technology went up $forty. No warning, no notification, cypher. So I decide to become with a different trash visitor and cancel Democracy Services. They tell me to put my can out to be picked upward on a specific engagement. They call me and tell me to put my can out on another day, so I whorl it out in that location and information technology has now been sitting in my driveway waiting to be picked upwards for iii days. They plain tin can't even cancel my service right. They are the absolute WORST company I have e'er had the displeasure of dealing with.

Subsequently Republic took over our local refuge disposal company and landfill, everything went in the can! I am a full general contractor here in Great Falls and take had nothing only problems and huge bills from this visitor/monopoly. Started with raising my rate on three yd dumpster at office/shop and then charging me huge fuel surcharge! From there it went to their temp toilet rentals. Quoted me $85 a month for ane with weekly service. They just forgot to mention that fuel surcharge over again, along with MILEAGE! Ended up costing over $170 a month. The last, and peradventure the worst, 30 yd container rent. Had a dwelling to tear downwards and was quoted $335 a dump and $iv a day rent. Finally got it delivered on site after speaking with three different people on the east declension.
Started calling for pickups/returns and they couldn't give me a timeframe for pickup, just morning or afternoon. Explained to out of stater on the other stop of the line that I needed information technology dumped twice daily... They say that tin can't be orchestrated! I asked to speak to a manager to which her response was "That's what my director'south telling me." She FINALLY directed me to someone LOCAL to which I was able to speak to and non accept to shut the task downward waiting to meet when they'd get there to dump/return container. Nosotros navigated that for a few days simply when I tried to schedule terminal pickup today online they said I needed to call because they couldn't access my account. Y'all call their local number and become through the aforementioned xv automated questions each time only to expect on hold for a human to ask you those same questions all once more 15 minutes later if y'all're lucky!
Received an invoice for the first 5 or 6 dumps and seen they were gracious plenty to charge me over $600 in fuel charges! THEY DON'T Guess THIS PER DUMP? I'chiliad left wondering how this is even legal? I'd sure would like to just show up and accuse customers whatever I wanted later I gave them a quote for a scope of work. The just trouble is that I have standards and on summit of that; There'S SOMEBODY ELSE THEY COULD CHOOSE TO GET THE Piece of work ACCOMPLISHED! It's no wonder our city is moving forrad on a study to possibly start their own landfill considering nobody can afford to do concern with this company! They've managed to buy out a great visitor, merely to flip the switch on local interaction & scheduling and replace that with some individual across the country telling yous what he/she tin can't do for you lot subsequently waiting on hold for periods of time! Take service currently. Bought a firm and was going to continue service. They want $66 a month and $68 to drop off cans and new business firm. And they want $72 to pick upward former cans. Is this company insane. I could just load the cans and take them to the new house. NOPE different service area or some **. I retrieve y'all guys forget you're non the merely game in town. SEE YA.

In three month this company took over the business from the previous one. They missed our pickups 3 times. We are a concern and our customers come to run across the overflowing trash container in the parking lot. Called multiple times to merits and all that I get is they volition prioritize the pick upward which since Friday till at present, Tuesday didn't happen. And then frustrating. And we tin't switch to another 1 since they are the ones assigned in the area.

On May iv or five of 2021, I fix an account with Republic Services for my new house. I was told I would receive a bill in the mail with an invoice number and then I could finish my account setup. Well-nigh one year after and I still take yet to receive a beak. Today, my trash was not picked up. I tried calling, offices closed. I got ahold of an agent online and was told my account was never set and they take no further data. I was told my merely selection was to phone call dorsum tomorrow. I causeless me setting up my account a year ago was covered but somehow the visitor has lost all data, despite picking upward my trash until now.

Came home to find ane of my numberless of trash missed their truck and they only left it in the heart of my route for my neighbors to run over. Was told it is their policy to go out it in that location for safety. Then it is ok for the trash visitor to trash your neighborhood.
